Fertile-Beltrami defeats Ram wrestlers, 30-29

It was close but no cigar a week ago Thursday evening at the Roseau High School gymnasium in the final home match of the season.

Following a Roseau forfeit at 113, Bodee Hovda took the initial lead over Wesley Ramberg at 120 on a takedown and led 2-1 after the first period.

Midway through the second period, Ramberg got an escape and a takedown to lead 4-2 before pinning Bodee at the 3:15 mark.

Following a Roseau forfeit at 126, the Falcons led 18-0, and Joey Schneider had the task of slowing down the opposition.
