Pat Adrian and Chuck Lindner, two middle-aged guys with a flair for extreme outdoor excursions, just couldn't pass up the 2019 Arrowhead 135 a week ago last Monday, which kicked off in International Falls and concluded in Tower, Minnesota.
They're old hands at this competition, all 135 miles of it - up and down the Arrowhead Snowmobile Trail on pedal bikes with five inch wide tires in temps suitable for penguins.
Are they crazy?
Chuck Lindner, 47, who co-owns Doug's Supermarket in Warroad, chuckled when asked how frequently his sanity is questioned.
