On the road a week ago Friday, the Rams had a good outing, according to head coach Aaron Rose, whose team is still not at full strength.

"We got the wins and the pins that we needed," he said, adding that eighth grader Joey Schneider won his first varsity match.

In the first dual of the day, Bodee Hovda lost on a 4-2 decision to Jacob Widness at 113.

Following Ram forfeits at 120 and 126, and Joey Schneider's loss by a pin at 132, the Rams trailed 21-0.

Then came the Rams' surge at 138 as Race Knochenmus pinned Joey Graff (1:30) and fellow sophomore Connor Eidsmoe...
