Roseau - Rolland John Kastner passed away on February 9, 2019 at the LifeCare Greenbush Manor at the age of 81. Rolland was born in Fairview, Ill., on April 19, 1937 to Samuel and Bessie Kastner. Welcoming him home were his six siblings, Robert, Kenneth, Harvey, Oscar, Betty and Flora.

Rolland grew up on the family farm near Manito, Ill., After graduating from Foman High School in the spring of 1955, Rollie enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on June 28, 1955 where he served his country until his retirement in 1976.
