Velma Colleen Olmstead, 85

Fargo N.D. - Velma Colleen Olmstead of Roseau, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Elim Nursing Home, Fargo N.D. at age 85. Velma was born October 16th 1933 in Roseau, to Torkel and Marie (Foss) Nyland. She graduated from Roseau High School. She married Manley on May 15, 1953. They had three children, Kevin, Valerie, and Dianne. She made her career as head cook in the Roseau School System. She and Manley enjoyed RVing in Arizona, and Texas during the winter; and traveling on bus tours with the Northern Neighbors Club and attending polka fests.
