Max Wilson is a semifinalist in State GeoBee

Earlier this week, Max Wilson, the son of Mark and Aimee Wilson and an eighth grader at Roseau High School, was notified that he is one of the semifinalists eligible to compete in the 2019 National Geographic GeoBee Minnesota State Competition.

According to the National Geographic Society press release, Max will attend the contest at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota on Friday, March 29.

In late January, Max, 13, won the Roseau School Geography Bee and then took an online qualifying test, which was submitted to the National Geographic Society.
