Have you ever heard someone say, "The only two things we can be sure of (and some people add, "in this life") are death and taxes?" Sometimes it's stated with a grin, especially as April 15th, "tax day" approaches. Are you smiling?

Death and taxes. Neither word usually has a celebrating ring to it. I say usually, because there may be a possible exception, at least in relationship to death. I'll get into this later in the article. You might have expected that.

What about taxes; anything good? Well, in my opinion, Yes, within certain perimeters. Tax revenues can help us in positive ways...
