Northfield - Elizabeth Trangsrud, age 82 of Northfield, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 4, 2019, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

Elizabeth Sylvia Trangsrud was born November 3, 1936, in Badger, to Helmer and Anna (Anderson) Rinde. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Badger High School in 1954. After high school she moved to Minneapolis and attended Minnesota Business College, working as a key punch operator.  On June 24, 1961, Betty married Julian Trangsrud at Roselund Lutheran Church in Badger.
