Making your exit in literary style!

Always, I read obituaries with a grain of salt. Mostly, it's that standard line in almost every obit: "Survived by loving wife (or devoted husband)."

Why not the following?

"We battled for years and I sort of began to like the old fart!"

A local lady, now deceased, was close to death at LifeCare Medical Center when her sister, an elderly woman still very much alive and living in rural Roseau, tried to cheer her up by saying, "Just think, (name redacted)! You will be buried right next to (name redacted)."

With almost her last fighting breath, this old dame was having nothing to do with senti...
