Alida Marie Kompelien, 90

Roseau - Alida passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the age of 90.

Alida Marie Kompelien was born on July 15, 1928 to Oscar and Tilda (Halvorson) Austinson in Wampum, Manitoba, Canada. She grew up in the Lutheran faith. At a young age she had several jobs to help with family finances. Alida had TB in her spine when she was a teen, which resulted in a lot of hospital stays.
