With regret, I wish I had.

So, I had to meet the girl.

Sure, I've written about the girls basketball team on special occasions, like after they won the state title in 2017 and whenever one of them earns statewide recognition.

But never once did I watch more than five minutes total of the greatest run in basketball history up here.

I just get too nervous.

I didn't even watch the 1987 and 1991 Minnesota Twins World Series games.

It's my nerves.

I did listen on the radio, would turn it off, drink another beer, turn it back on, listen for a minute or two, turn it off, and drink more beer.
