"4.6 million boondoggle of state aid gas tax"
May 11, 2019
The Roseau County Road 9 project bid has been accepted at a cost of 4.6 million; a boondoggle of state aid gas tax... By moving the county 9 ditch and slope 4 feet to the east and placing the removed soil on the west slope. This should happen all in the same motion; adding 4 feet to the existing providing a 6 or 7 foot shoulder. Which is more than adequate for any federal, state or county road regardless the slope. This method of widening the east shoulder for sure will be a 60 per cent savings of the 4.6 million; with minimal traffic interference.
