Warroad - William "Bill" I. Hagen Sr. passed away on May 8, 2019 at his home in rural Warroad at the age of 81.

Bill was born on November 8, 1937 to Adolph Hagen and Ruth (Harding) in Warroad. He attended elementary school in Salol and graduated from Roseau High School. After his schooling, Bill started his lifelong career in farming, in addition to many business enterprises with his partner and brother-in-law, Jon Miller; including, North Star Transport of Roseau, Thief River Falls and Eagan, Arctic Cat, Roseau Diesel Service, Inc. and Miller & Hagen Investments.
