75 years ago… Mr. and Mrs. David Hovda of Roseau announced the birth of a daughter, Kelly Jean Hovda, born May 6.

Russ Swenson, recently completed his 50th full marathon (the Fargo Marathon). In 1985, he ran his first marathon (Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth).

The 2014 Inductees to the Roseau Athletic Hall of Fame were Nancy Burggraf, Kerry Taylor, Gretchen Anderson, Les Kvien, Earl Anderson, Dustin Timmersman and the 1958 and 1959 Roseau Ram boys hockey teams.

Clara Robb was the winner of a quilt at the Mothers Day raffle at the Senior Center in Roseau.

Celebrating their May birthdays at the Four Seasons Senior Center were Barb McFarlane and Bud Fugleberg.
