Summer is Underway and Rumors

We will start with rumors. No, I did not buy the Warroad Pioneer. Yes, we will be covering Warroad as much as we can. Yes, the City of Warroad has named us their official paper. Yes, the Warroad Public School has named us their official paper.

With that being said I hope it clears up the rumors. Unfortunately Warroad's 120 -year-old newspaper has closed. There is a lot of speculation why, but none of that matters because it is gone.

It honestly saddens me, 120 years is a long time for any business, but a newspaper is the past, present and the future of the community.
