Roseau - Hilma "Vickie" Temple was born on July 4, 1925 in Roseau, to Erick and Anna (Carlson) Wicklander. She was the fourteenth child of fifteen children. Vickie grew up in Swift, Warroad and Wannaska before moving to Roseau when she was fourteen. On November 13, 1945 she married Douglas E. Temple. They had two children, Susan and Mark. Vickie and Douglas made their home in Northglenn, Colo. where she worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant at the Swedish Hospital. She was a caregiver to many and loved it with a passion.
