Medalist Gus Vatnsdal helps golfers earn runner-up honors

The Ram golfers were on fire on Tuesday, the second day of the Section 8AA team and individual qualifying tournament at the Town & Country Golf Course in Bemidji.
Nobody was going to catch Detroit Lakes, the team leader after the first day with a score of 311. The Rams were tied with Crookston for 2nd place with 331.
The Lakers matched their excellence with another 311 on Tuesday to win another Section 8AA team title with the score of 622.
Rounding out the field were Roseau (647), Pequot Lakes (660), Fergus Falls (666), Crookston (666), and Warroad (725).
