Adventures Begin At Doc's Harbor Inn

 

After thirty years of living in the Twin Cities, Janet Marvin moved back up north.

“My siblings and I had so many adventures on Warroad River growing up” recalls Janet. “When I moved back to Warroad, I wanted to start a business sharing those adventures with kids in the area. I knew that business had to include toys on the water!”

Randi Marvin Oftedahl noticed a ‘for sale’ sign at a house at 106 Dale Ave. S.W., on the bank of the Warroad River. Built in 1914 and once the location of Dr. L.S. Hughes Veterinarian, the Victorian house seemed the ideal spot for a water adventure business.
