FIREWORKS, FLAGS, AND FAITH

What's the projected "special" about this week whether you're receiving this article before or after the fact. Well, you know what I'm thinking, it's the 4th OF JULY week, and we celebrate it with fireworks: "Ooooo","Ahhh," or however you respond, and flags abundantly on display. Is there a connection between the two? Each year when my wife and I join the celebration, I wonder: "Do we stop to think about what the fireworks are all about, what they represent? Are we beneficiaries of what they point to?
