Streiff's swindler pleads guilty to felony theft

On Monday, Jennifer Slukynsky, a former employee of Streiff Sporting Goods west of Warroad, appeared in front of Judge Donna Dixon and pled guilty in Courtroom One at the Roseau County Courthouse to Count I theft by swindle, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years imprisonment and/or $100,000 fine.

In the plea agreement, the State of Minnesota dropped Counts II and III, which carried additional prison time and penalties.

Ms. Slukynsky, 43, was represented by Grand Forks attorney Alexander F. Reichert.
