STANDING ON THE FRONT PORCH

The morning after I gave my spiritually ignorant life to Jesus (and of course, the “Father.”), I walked out on the front porch of the home I grew up in, looked out across our property, lifted my eyes above the forests and hills in front of me, and saw Mt. Rainier bathed in the morning sun, and I was, for the first time in my life, overcome by the thought: “THIS IS GOD’S WORLD”! So I stepped off the porch into what was, for me, a new world, and never returned to the old one again (even though the temptation is always there). More on temptation shortly.
