On Thursday afternoon at the Roseau School Theater, Robert Francis Foley, 91 and a semi-retired Roseau banker, was inducted into the Roseau Community School Hall of Fame with all five of his children - Catherine, Elizabeth, Colleen, Scott, and Robert - in attendance.
The only family member missing was his late wife, Marian.
Banker Bob, as he is called, perhaps had his finest hour - and weeks - following the Roseau River flood in the summer of 2002.
Unknown to many, Mr. Foley and Marian donated a significant sum to the City of Roseau for the flood recovery.
