NorthStream Fiber to bring broadband internet to unserved and underserved rural areas

Roseau Electric Cooperative, with Wikstrom Telephone Co. of Karlstad, Minn., is excited to announce a project to bring fiber optic broadband to hundreds of homes in Roseau County through a new service designated NorthStream Fiber.
On Aug. 28, Roseau Electric signed a partnership agreement with Wikstrom that will allow them to combine resources to serve reliable, gigabit-capable internet to Roseau Electric members.
