Nate Broten, a young local barber with enthusiasm, strode across an unusual fairway equipped with a driver completely out of the golf world, and he was nowhere near Oakcrest Golf Course in Roseau.
Welcome to Disc Golf, which the lanky lad isn't too bad at - his opinion and others - as he fired a disc about 200 feet during a practice round at the Roseau City Park last week.
Broten, 21, is sold on this game and almost daily plays 18 holes with several fellow enthusiasts.
