The Magnusson Trust v. Roseau County Our File No. 5068-0002

I reviewed with interest the letter that was read by Gary Slater at the County Board meeting on August 27. I also read the subsequent news article in the Roseau Times­-Region on August 31. It seems that Mr. Slater, as well as members of the public who attended the meeting to support Mr. Slater, have not been kept informed of what has gone on in the litigation started by the Magnusson Trust against the County.

The Times did not seek to get any input from the County personnel involved in the matter to obtain all viewpoints for the subsequent story they published. I presume their viewpoint is the...
