Roseau County settles suit with June Magnusson Trust

The legal suit of Michelle B. Slater, the Co-Trustee of the June J. Magnusson Irrevocable Adverse Claims Trust vs Roseau County has been settled.

As filed in District Court in Roseau County on September 9, 2019, Michelle B. Slater was awarded $24,882 for several acres that were contaminated by salt leakage from a nearby Roseau County Highway holding area.

At Tuesday's Roseau County Board meeting, the commissioners discussed a five-page email from Scott T. Anderson, the attorney who represented the board in this legal suit.
