Earlier this week, some shrink was on Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) explaining how happy childhoods make for happy adults.
Pure bunk, I thought.
"Did you have a happy childhood?" he said into the airwaves..
If you were a normal child - like I was - who raised hell - like I did - than you - like me - were getting severely punished or reprimanded.
In my defense, I was getting all the bad stuff out of me before I became an adult.
My mother, the late Marie Frances Fink Olsen (date of birth 8/7/1909), however, didn't buy that line.
She was a devotee of never sparing the rod and spoiling the child. T...
