Do you ever have a self pity party? I usually don't, but this last week I did just that.

I was feeling like life was being unfair. I rarely get to get away for a few days with the paper duties. After our mini-vacation to Jordan, we thought it would be fun to go back to a few of the apple orchards we drove past.

They weren't ready for apple picking when we went to the candy store, so we thought it would be a nice Fall get-away.

Late August through October is what I had been reading would be a good time to visit the orchards. This sounded perfect.
