Local VSO Stands Tall for Military Veterans

Make no mistake about it. The guy is still spit and polish, square jawed and gung-ho, and ramrod straight in and out of the office.

Martin "Marty" Howes, 46, the Roseau County Veterans Service Officer (VSO), was recently honored with his election as the Vice President of the Minnesota Association of Veterans Service officers.

He is the first Roseau County Veterans Service Officer to be so honored.

Mr. Howes, a dedicated gentleman whose motto is to work tirelessly in behalf of local veterans, was elected to this prestigious position on September 11.
