Roseau - Esther R. Nystrom passed away on October 8, 2019 she was born on 20 July 1944 to Inga (Brenhaug) and Arvid Nystrom in Roseau. She was raised on the Nystrom Farm and attended school in Roseau where she lettered in band playing the French Horn and Basketball. Growing up she enjoyed picking berries, rides on the tractor with her dad, and many family get togethers. After leaving Roseau she moved to the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon where she began her career in the service and manufacturing industries.
