Roseau - Kay Margaret Johnson passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019 at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, N.D. at the age of 78.

Kay was born on March 18, 1941 in Luverne, to Orville and Olive (Weiner) Shortridge. She grew up in International Falls, and was baptized in the Lutheran faith on June 3, 1951 and graduated from Falls High School in 1960. She worked as a waitress and cook until 1967.
