For anyone that lives North of Roseau it has to be hard to not feel like you have maybe been sacrificed for the good of the city of Roseau. The sheer volume of the water the east and west diversion ditches dump North of town is impressive. When one considers the water dumped in the Roseau Lake Bottom from Hay Creek, Mud Creek, and Pine Creek along with the diversion ditches it kind of looks like one of those “Yesterday I couldn’t even spell engineer and today I are one” deals. All of that water gets necked down to go under the Ross bridge and even more so to get under the Lins bridge....
