Nolan Hanson is a typical Roseau High School junior.

He wears a baseball cap just about everywhere except in the classroom and has this "aw shucks" smile.

RHS Guidance Counselor Dan Urness can't say enough about the young man.

"He's always willing to help, has super school spirit, is involved in lots of activities, and is just an all-around good kid," he said, adding Nolan is the best mascot he's seen in his 25 plus years at RHS.

Now meet the young man, who's a basketball player and shoots trap in the fall and spring.
