Roseau- Jennie A. Nelson passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 25, 2019 at the LifeCare Roseau Manor at the age of 100.

Jennie was born on December 18, 1918 in Salol, (Norland Township) to August Lindgren and Olga (Danielson) Olafson. She grew up and worked on the family farm in the rural Roseau County and was married to Leo Kimble in 1937. They had six children. After his death in 1948, she later married Gunnar Nelson in 1985. She worked as a waitress and the kitchen manager at the Warroad Hospital.
