St. Pierre- Lloyd Robert Ruud, age 90 of St. Pierre, Manitoba and formerly of South Junction, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2019, at the St. Pierre Jolys Manitoba Nursing Home.

Lloyd was born in the house on the family homestead in South Junction on a sunny day, September 1, 1929, to Casper and Bertha Ruud. He was the youngest of six children. He lived in that house on the homestead until he was 80 years old. At that time, he and Joan moved to Steinbach, Manitoba.
