Roseau's 2019 Teacher of the Year values students

Leif Eidsmoe, who teaches senior high science, made the right career choice after all.

"Originally, I was going to go to med school and I decided, 'No, I don't want to be a doctor. I want to do something else.' Then I got my teaching degree," he said recently.

Instead of fixing broken bones and doing tonsillectomies, he's challenging his students to develop their minds and enhance their future possibilities.
