Olga Markovich, a resilient 96-year-old who turns 97 on November 25, sat at her kitchen table out in Malung Township, and she is one for the ages - a 1922 model who has lived among heroes, endured heartaches quietly, and never said a word about two family members, now long deceased, who held such promise.

We talk on the phone about once a month and this past Monday, I visited Olga and her daughter, Denise.
