The Roseau Bantams opened their regular season with games against two Grand Forks teams on Saturday and Fargo at home on Sunday. They started out on Saturday against Grand Forks Blue with Roseau coming out on top 4-3. The game against Grand Forks Red was closer and a little rougher with a couple of Roseau kids leaving the game injured. Grand Forks tied it up late and it went into overtime with Roseau coming out on top 5-4.
