Roseau 10UB team gets first win of the season, after continual improvement throughout the weekend

The Roseau 10UB team traveled to Grand Forks for the second weekend of the Grand Forks Angels tournament. The girls were coming into the weekend looking to continue on the success of the 10UA team (2nd place) and 12UA team (3rd place) from the previous weekend.

Unfortunately, the weekend started out rough with a 10-1 loss to Mandan. The lone bright spot of the game was a goal by Abby Swanson, assisted by Britta Bunke with a little over one minute to play to break the shutout. That last minute goal gave the girls a little bit of optimism to ice their bumps and bruises...
