For every year the Christmas tree, Brings to us all both joy and glee.

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Much pleasure doth thou bring me!

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Thy candles shine out brightly!

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Thy candles shine out brightly!

Each bough doth hold its tiny light, That makes each toy to sparkle bright.

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, Thy candles shine out brightly!

Remember singing that song in grade school? Remember the smell of pine, and thinking about all the presents you hope to get under your tree?

These were Julie Elick's memories as she paid a visit to the Roseau County Museum, viewing the Christmas trees which were decorated by county groups, businesses, organizations, and more. She voted for her favorite tree by placing money in a box, located next to the tree.

The top three trees will win a cash prize. The trees will be on display through the end of December. Open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Museum is located at 121 Center Street East in downtown Roseau.
