Roseau Athletes of the Week

December 20, 2019

Jace Hulst

Jace is our only senior on the team and is a lead-by-example-type of teammate. He is hard-working and always puts forth max effort! Jace was one rebound shy of a double double against Grygla-Goodridge and has had multiple games of scoring 5 plus rebounds.

Faith Berger

Faith, a junior, is always smiling, working hard, and bringing energy to practice and games. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in the way she plays. She hustles and that brings up the energy of everyone else. In a game where we need a pick-up, Faith is our girl.

Head Coach Kelsey Didrikson-Girls Basketball

Max Strand

Sophomore Max Strand had three goals in a 4-3 OT win over Moorhead last Tuesday. Additionally, sophomore Gavin Gunderson had all five of Roseau’s goals against Buffalo and Rogers this weekend with three of them coming in an overtime win versus Rogers on Saturday.

Ryder Dahl

The Ram freshman has a unique and positive attitude that brings a new outlook into the wrestling room. Besides being a natural grappler, the Big R is our starting super heavyweight and a gentle giant who displays great sportsmanship. He’s just a great kid with a terrific outlook.

Head Coach Scott Mooney-Wrestling

Olivia Urness

Olivia, a senior captain, is a consistently reliable player, who has developed into a strong defensive, player. She is a great backchecker, and forechecker, who can step right into the penalty kill and power play. Olivia is an intense competitor with a great positive attitude!
