Before the boys basketball team could go on Christmas break, not that there actually is too much of a break in winter sports, they would travel to Karlstad on Friday, December 20th, to take on the Northern Freeze of MCC/Tri-County. Coach Hayden was optimistic going into this game in perhaps picking up the teams first win of the season. It's a tough gym to play in, with the low ceiling giving any visiting team a feeling of confinement. The Freeze started off the game on a 7-0 run, and continued on that lead with a 14-5 score about halfway through the first half....
