The first item of business is always right inside the Roseau County Commissioners' meeting room at the Roseau County Courthouse.

Of course, you could have shaken hands with Rep. Dan Fabian this past Tuesday.

But that could wait.

Cindy Tangen was putting out trays of food, and immediately some curmudgeon will be complaining that they're spending our hard-earned taxpayer dollars on the grub.

But not to worry.

Each meeting, a different commissioner or one of the office personnel will chip in for those meat/cheese trays and platters of cookies.
