This Canadian-American Lass Stands Out

It was possibly time to sing the third verse of O Canada, a beautiful national anthem:
God keep our land
Glorious and free
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
For approximately 14 minutes, Danielle Sibilleau, 17, and a Roseau High School senior, fielded questions, mostly alone, with tremendous poise and frequent chuckles.
Born in Canada?
"I was born here," she said, mentioning that she is French but can't speak it fluently.
"I'm learning it. This is my second semester," said Danielle. "It is both of my parents' first language."
