It's a first ever in Roseau Spelling Bee

On Monday evening at the Roseau School Theater, this was no ordinary Roseau School District Spelling Bee.

Ms. Ann Olson, one of the judges along with Mrs. Carla Olsen and Mrs. Katie Laugen, introduced the 16 contestants, whom she lauded as winners already for making it to this stage.

Meet the contestants

Grade Eight: Champion - MaKaila Marquette, Samantha Butler, Katherine Kennedy, and Ethan Watts.

Grade Seven: Champion - Wyatt Cummings, Abram Hinson, Nick Thompson, and Bryn Wilson.

Grade Six: Champion - Isaac Schneider, Ashlynn Omdahl, Ruby Osweiller, and Anna Ulvin.
