Wrestlers drop three in Blackduck Quad

On Tuesday evening in Blackduck, the wrestlers lost three duals, but there was a big highlight in their opening dual against Grand Forks Red River, which won by a score of 48-13.

At 120, seventh grader Pat Locklear won his first ever varsity match as he defeated Red River's Camden Larsen on a 7-0 decision.

"Pat took control with a few takedowns for a great win," said coach Scott Mooney.

Next, at 126, Joey Schneider was pinned at the 51 second mark of the 1st period.

Then, at 152, junior Race Knochenmus won on a 13-1 major decision over Zion Diggs.
