Growing up short was never an option

Amelia and Victoria, the daughters of Blair and Martina Johnson, could only dream of being ordinary girls - shorter than the boys in grade school and high school.
Alas, nobody is short in their family. Doug Flutie, the famous Boston College quarterback never got taller than five-nine.
Heck, the girls were that tall by the eighth grade.
The Johnson sisters - athletes and scholars with the nicknames of Mel and Vic - stand out in a crowd.
Amelia Johnson, a 2016 Roseau High School graduate, attends Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she plays D-I volleyball.
