Roseau's 2-Day Blood Drive Brings in 55 Volunteers

Roseau community hosted a 2-day blood drive with Vitalant, formerly United Blood Services, on February 17 and 18 at Roseau City Center which helped collect a total of 107 units of blood products for patients in need.

A total of 94 individuals volunteered to donate blood and 86 individuals were able to donate at the Vitalant blood drive on February 17 and 18. A total of 18 donors also came forward to donate Power Red Cells (2RBC) which collects two units of red blood cells while returning platelets, plasma and a saline solution back to the donor.
