Roseau -Maynard Elroy Braaten passed away on April 3, 2020 at the LifeCare Roseau Manor at the age of 87.

Maynard was born on February 2, 1933 in Dieter Township of Roseau County, to Nels and Nellie (Edwardson) Braaten. He attended school in Ross and graduated from the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston. He and Elizabeth (Urtel) were married on June 13, 1959 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Ross.
