Roseau High School Assistant Principal Kelsey Johnson couldn't recall the exact date when the students had last been in school.

"You know, a day without kids here feels like a year. You lose track of the days like people do at home," she said, remarking that she had recently listened to the news on the radio and the number one search on Google was what day it is.

"We miss the kids. This is why we get into the profession because we love kids and when kids aren't here, it's kind of depressing," she said, adding that most of her regular school days involved meeting with kids, giving them direc...
